A multidisciplinary approach is essential to the curriculum throughout this fellowship. Although breast surgery clinic and operating time represent a portion of the weekly schedule throughout the year, various months will have concentrated exposure to various topics. In addition, the fellow will be allotted weekly research time and given several block sessions throughout the year with the goal of initiating clinical trials, accruing patients and presenting data at national meetings.
The fellow is given 22 days of vacation per year.
